Trust & Faith Accounting LLC is a woman-owned small business.

Local to Amelia County our owner/operator, Heather Bryant DeShetler, has been in the industry for over 25 years. She began her first full-charge bookkeeper position at the age of 19. Throughout her career she advanced to multiple different roles within the field. She has experience with many aspects of running a business, including company formation, compliance, accounting, and human resources.

She has handled books for many different business models, working with companies that handle retail, service, manufacturing, and construction. Heather has experience in multiple accounting systems including Quickbooks Desktop/Enterprise, Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Money, Sage 100 and Netsuite, along with straight paper accounting via general leger. She has worked with multiple payroll software packages including Quickbooks payroll, ADP & iSolved.

She started freelance accounting work in 2000. Since that time, she has specialized in implementing accounting programming, repairing accounting systems, backlog data entry, creating company processes, training staff, and advising startups.  

In her free time, Heather stays busy with family. She has three kids, ranging from ages 11 to 22, and there are always memories to be made. She is also a very active member of her church. Heather started and leads a women's fellowship bible study group known as "Ladies Coffee Club" and chairs a local division of HerMission.  Within her family, and her church family, she fills her cup by pouring into others.
